The US Navy is putting on a Hero Street Monument Wreath laying ceremony on Wednesday June 22 as part of Quad Cities Navy Week (June 15-22). There will be a color guard and a Navy band present.
The ceremony is to commemorate all veterans throughout the Quad Cities area. It is also open to the public. Special guest will be Rear Admiral Tilghman Payne, Commander, Navy Region Midwest.
